HOURS PER WEEK: 40 hours per week - 260 days per year

 

POSITION GOAL: Provide leadership in managing and supervising assigned programs and support services.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Establish program goals and procedures and provide input into policies.
2. Develop, implement and monitor program services.
3. Develop and supervise program budgets and expenditures.
4. Organize, supervise, train, and evaluate program staff.
5. Develop and implement staff inservice training and evaluation procedures.
6. Provide consultative and technical assistance regarding program(s).
7. Develop grants and proposals to support program functions.
8. Maintain effective public relations with parents, districts, higher education, business, community and state agencies.
9. Resolve and/or refer to the Superintendent any program, staff, district, or public concerns.
10. Comply with ESD administrative rules and board policies.
11. Perform physical requirements unaided or with the assistance of reasonable accommodation (see reverse)
12. Perform job-related tasks as designated by Superintendent.

 

MINIMUM PREREQUISITES:
1. Valid Oregon Administrator Licensed (preferred).
2. Masters Degree (preferred).
3. Oregon Driver License.
4. Experience in public education.
5. Successful leadership background.
6. Strong written and oral communication skills.

 

The equivalent combination of experience, training, certification, education or degree as determined by the district that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be used as an alternative to prerequisites.

SALARY: Per Non-Licensed Administrative salary schedule.
